What is “Imagineering”? As much as I like to play with the English language and make up words such as “trepidacious”, I did not invent the word Imagineering. It was a concept that was popular in the 1940s and adopted by Walt Disney and other artists and visionaries since.

It is a word that is regularly used in our household and one, my husband, Andrew and I like to apply to our business dealings and creative projects.

So what does it mean?

As the portmanteau word suggests by the combination of both sound and meaning, Imagineering is about letting your imagination soar and then engineering it down to earth.
